Dr. Kim Ross received his Ph.D. in Biomechanics from the University of Waterloo in 2003 under the supervision of Dr. S. McGill. Dr. Ross graduated from The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (C.M.C.C.) in 1987.
Since 1988, he has been teaching chiropractic skills and body biomechanics at C.M.C.C. and currently holds the title of Associate Professor. In 1999, he obtained the position of Chair for the Department of Applied Chiropractic. In 2008 he became Director of Education, Year I.
He has been published in Spine, Clinical Biomechanics, The Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, Manual Therapy and the Journal of Osteopathic Medicine.
In 2003, he received an award as Researcher of the Year from the Ontario Chiropractic Association. He is presently the Director of Clinical Services & Research at The Orthotic Group. Dr. Ross has lectured in Canada, United States, England, Ireland, Australia, Switzerland and Denmark. His audiences include student chiropractors, chiropractors, chiropodists, podiatrists, physiotherapists and faculty members at various educational institutions. He is also a council member on the National Council on Fall Risk Awareness and Prevention.

Suzie Kalman is the owner and founder of The Gemini Group, a company whose concept is the promotion of good health. The business focuses on providing exceptional service, individual attention and education to all clients to prevent, improve, or support circulatory and leg health. Suzie began her career in health care, graduating with honors from the University of Toronto in both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. Suzie’s clinical experience included extensive involvement in the assessment and treatment of clients with physical and mental disabilities. Suzie also taught
at McMaster University in the School of Medicine.
Dr. Jay Segel

Dr. Jay Segel graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1983 and completed his residency at the Harvard Affiliated Cambridge City Hospital Program. Dr. Segel is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Writers Association and has been a frequent contributor to Podiatry Management with articles and product reviews. He is the inventor of the DynaFlange™ Orthotic
and acts as the Podiatric Consultant to Langer Biomechanics. He is also the Director of Applied Podiatric Biomechanics for Noraxon USA Inc. Dr. Segel lives on Martha’s Vineyard where he has
his private practice with a focus in Biomechanics and Rehabilitative Podiatry.
Director of Technology & Data Management (Resilience Code, LLC)
Sally Crawford is the Director of Technology and Data Management at Resilience Code, LLC
in Englewood, CO. She is the former Chief Operations Officer at Resilience Code and Business Development Manager for Noraxon, attended University of Rochester graduating with
a BS in Biomedical Engineering and then Graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with
a master’s degree in Neuromuscular Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics. Sally focuses on enhancing research database infrastructures, movement and wellness testing and reporting systems, and technology solutions for integrated care. Evidence-based solutions and the underlying data provide quantification of movement patterns, outcomes, techniques, and research/rehabilitation processes.
Dr. Richard Mann
Founder & CEO of Realm Labs, LLC (Distributor of NeuRemedy®)
Dr. Mann graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1978 and received his residency training at the FDR VA Medical Center at Montrose, New York. He is on staff at Delray Medical Center in South Florida. Dr. Mann is the founder and CEO of Realm Labs, LLC, distributors
of NeuRemedy®, a nutrient used in the management of polyneuropathy. Dr. Mann has lectured
and written extensively on peripheral neuropathy and polyneuropathy. Dr. Mann is in private practice in Delray Beach, Florida, where he specializes in the treatment of peripheral neuropathy.
Don Pierson is certified as both an Orthotist and a Pedorthist by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics (ABC). He has worked in the O & P field for over 34 years. His start in O & P began in 1984 by completing the Orthotic Technician program in White Bear Lake Minnesota. He then was on staff at an O & P facility in Illinois for 19 years.
Since 2003 Don has been at Arizona AFO, Inc in the position of Vice President of Operations. Arizona AFO is an ABC Accredited Central Fabrication Facility specializing in custom made lower extremity orthotics and has over 80 employees.
From 2009-2012 Don served four years as a Director on the ABC Board. He has lectured at Orthotic, Prosthetic and Pedorthic symposia as well as at many Podiatric meetings. He has led workshops
on custom AFOs for several years. Don has been married to his wife, Rosemary, for over 42 years
and has two sons, both of whom also work in the O & P industry.
